Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer
- Parkville, Melbourne Location

About the Role
This is a 12 month fixed term position until 31 January 2027 at 80 per fortnight within the Finance Department.
The Accounts Payable Officer will ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner, facilitating payment in accordance with agreed supplier payment terms. The Accounts Payable Officer will also have strong communication skills, liaising daily with both internal and external stakeholders.
Classification for this position will range from AO21 to AO25 (base salary $66,768 to $73,811.92 per annum, plus superannuation, leave loading and salary packaging).
What you’ll achieve:
- Accurate processing and review of invoices and employee expense reimbursements
- Reduction of on hold invoices
- Timely supplier statement reconciliations
- Maintain accounts payable supplier records and related documentation, ensuring data integrity and minimising the risk of fraudulent activity
Your skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in a high-volume accounts payable function with at least 2 years of working experience
- Demonstrated experience using computer applications, including Microsoft Office products and Accounts Payable systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of established administrative processes
- Demonstrated commitment to work and contribute as part of a team
