About the Role:
The Allied Health Digital Health Partner is an exciting new opportunity for a senior Allied Health Professional to develop their capabilities in digital health, innovation and data analysis.
This role is ideal for an Allied Health professional seeking to explore an alternative career path or clinician interested in Digital Health Allied Health senior staff with an interest in pursuing a career pathway into the areas of Digital Health, data analysis or service improvement should consider applying for this role. The Allied Health Digital Health Partner will be a key team member of the Allied Health leadership team working closely with the RCH Digital Innovation Team, Parkville Chief Allied Health Officer and Allied Health managers.
What you'll achieve:
- Provide leadership, direction and support to Allied Health managers and staff regarding digital health innovation and improvement
- Function as a subject matter expert and liaison between the Digital Innovation team and Allied Health Managers, clinicians, Digital Team and Decision Support Unit to develop and identify solutions for workflows, data entry and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an Allied Health Digital Strategy
- Provide strong leadership to motivate staff to perform at a high level and to optimise use of EMR and digital health applications.
Your skills and experience:
- An accredited qualification in one of the Allied Health Therapy or Science professions employed at RCH.
- Eligibility for professional registration with AHPRA (where required) or membership of an appropriate professional body.
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary issues and directions of Allied Health in tertiary health services.
- Excellent working knowledge, experience and competency with information management systems and electronic medical records.
- Extensive experience in hospital Allied Health practice, with an interest in digital workflows, best practice, innovation, clinical documentation, and healthcare informatics.
- Post Graduate qualification in Health Leadership, Digital Health, Informatics or a related field (or working towards)

- This exciting new role will support all the Allied Health Therapy and Science profressions across RCH, while working collaboratively with the Chief Allied Health Information Officer, Director Digitial Education and Allied Health Director, Associate Director, Clinical Education and Workforce Development Leads
