Clinical Fellow in Cystic Fibrosis & Respiratory

About the Role

This is a Fixed Term Full Time position at 86 per fortnight within the Department of Respiratory & Sleep Medicine.

In this clinical position you will provide inpatient and outpatient care for children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis, as well as a range of other respiratory conditions, and participate in the department out of hours on-call roster. You will contribute to supervision of junior medical staff and medical students and participate in regular formal and informal education and teaching. Classification for this position will range from HM25 to HM30 (base salary $129,048.40 to $177,622.12 per annum, plus superannuation)

 

What you’ll achieve:

  • Actively manage respiratory patients with a range of conditions
  • Participate in respiratory and CF clinics
  • Participate in bronchoscopy lists

 

Your skills and experience 

  • Completed basic training (RACP) or its equivalent in paediatrics
  • A minimum of six months of prior experience in paediatric respiratory or sleep medicine
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement or research

The Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the RCH provides tertiary paediatric respiratory care, education, training and comprehensive research programs and has led internationally in the establishment of paediatric pulmonology as a distinct and important branch of medicine.
