Clinical Nurse Consultant, Maternal and Child Health Nurse – General Medicine

About the Role:
This is a casual position within the Department of General Medicine’s Maternal and Child Health team.
You will support new parents/carers with feeding, settling and attachment concerns, bridging hospital and community care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team within the MCHN scope of practice.
Classification for this position will be ZA7.
What you’ll achieve:
- Provide expert clinical knowledge and skills, in the assessment and management of patients within area of specialisation
- Collaborate and consult with healthcare teams, patients and families/carers to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient care
Your skills and experience:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - ESSENTAL
- 5 years community Maternal and Child Health experience - DESIRABLE
