About the Role
This is a Fixed-term, Part time position at 0.8 FTE/ 60.8 hours per fortnight within the Children’s Cancer Centre.
You will be responsible for….
Providing expertise and oversight of the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical care for children with cancer diagnoses, and their families.
You will deliver strong and supportive supervision of trainee and junior medical staff, and contribute to the education and research programs of the Children’s Cancer Centre.
Classification for this position will range from ZF4-ZJ4 CNC A and CNC B ($121,695.60 - $128,102.00 per annum pro rata).
What you’ll achieve:
- Strong leadership and expertise in the delivery of high-quality care to children and adolescents, and their families
- Active contribution to departmental strategic and operational goals, consistent with the mission, values and strategic plan of the organisation
- Work collaboratively with other CCC stream clinicians, and relevant Stream Leader to facilitate clinical service improvement through clinical audit and research, and promotion of a positive research culture
Your skills and experience
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Post graduate qualification in area of expertise (or willing to work towards)
- Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant

Other requirements:
- Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
- Valid Working with Children Check
