About the Role
This is a Permanent Full-Time position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Pharmacy Department.
You Will Be Responsible For:
-
Providing a high quality and efficient clinical trials service
-
Supporting and promoting the safe and ethical use of novel therapies
What You’ll Achieve:
-
Maintain and develop relationships with medical and technical staff within RCH, The Department of Paediatrics (University of Melbourne) and the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute

Assist with the set-up of clinical trials
-
Be trained in the preparation of GMO products
Classification for this position will range from SX2 $92,627.60 per annum (plus superannuation) – SX5 $104811.20 per annum (plus superannuation).
Your Skills and Experience:
-
Registered to practice as a pharmacist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency & name appears on the register of the Pharmacy Board of Australia

Significant and proven experience in hospital pharmacy and/or clinical trials

Previous experience in the production of sterile and/or GMO products (desirable)

Postgraduate qualifications or undertaking a postgraduate course in a relevant discipline. (desirable)

About The Department:
We are a team of around 70 staff including pharmacists, technicians, and administrators. Our supportive and collaborative teams include Outpatients, Children’s Cancer Centre, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical trials, and Medicines Information, HiTH and Sterile Services and the Pharmacy Business Unit.
