Consultant, Endocrinology & Diabetes
About the Role
This is a Permanent Part Time position at 4 sessions per fortnight (0.2 EFT) within the Department of Endocrinology & Diabetes.
You will be responsible for the provision of excellent clinical care for children and adolescents with endocrine conditions and diabetes. This role has an inpatient (ward cover) component and an outpatient component, which may include outreach clinics.
What you’ll achieve:
- Promote and maintain exemplary standards of clinical practice in an inpatient and outpatient context
- Provide supervision and support to junior medical staff (Fellows and SRMO), and training and education to the department’s staff and medical students.
- Actively participate in team meetings and educational activities within the department.
Your skills and experience:
- Experience in Paediatric Endocrinology at Consultant level
- FRACP or equivalent College Fellowship
- Knowledge of RCH EMR, IT systems and policies
