Job Title: Mental Health Digital Health Partner – EMR & Digital Innovation
About the Role
This is a Full time, (80hrs/fortnight incl ADO), Fixed term Full Time opportunity within the EMR & Digital Innovation Team, with funding in place until 30 June 2027. The role is available to commence from 1st July 2026
This position has been established through grant funding to support delivery of the RCH Campus Mental Health Strategy. It will provide digital health leadership across key initiatives, including culturally appropriate developmental screening and broader mental health digital programs.
We are seeking a suitably skilled Mental Health Digital Health Partner to provide digital health consultancy, implementation support, and solution design to enable delivery of funded mental health initiatives at The Royal Children’s Hospital.
You will work closely with clinical leaders, program teams, and digital specialists to design and embed EMR-enabled solutions, support clinician engagement, and drive sustainable adoption of digital workflows that improve care outcomes.
Classification for this role is Allied Health Clinician Grade 3 (Year 1–4) or equivalent Psychologist / Pharmacist / Nurse / Administrative Officer
What you’ll achieve:
- Lead digital health design and implementation for mental health digital initiatives (BSP and SAPHER)
- Translate clinical and program needs into effective EMR-enabled solutions
- Partner with clinicians and stakeholders to embed digital workflows and improve care delivery
- Deliver change management, education and engagement to support adoption of digital tools
- Support data analysis, reporting and evaluation to inform program outcomes and continuous improvement
Your skills and experience
- Tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Nursing, Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in digital health, clinical informatics or service design
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Record systems in healthcare settings
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to work across clinical and technical teams
- Ability to translate complex clinical requirements into practical digital solutions
