The Role:

An opportunity has become available within The Royal Children’s Hospital for Environmental Services Attendant in the Overnight Accommodation Department.

 

Part-time fixed term position until 30th June 2025 at 60 hours per fortnight:

         Week 1: Monday - Friday 7.30am – 2.00pm

        Week 2: Monday - Friday 7.30am – 2.00pm

 

Environmental Service Attendants responsibilities are to provide a clean environment to clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospital. Reporting to the Support Services Coordinator, you will maintain a clean & safe environment within the hospital. You will also be aware of requirements to ensure that practice is consistent with Infection Control guidelines, policy and according to Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities.

Your well-developed written and verbal communication skills combined with your interpersonal skills will provide you with the ability to work within a team environment in varying locations throughout the hospital. Your customer focus attention to detail will enable you to provide a high level service to patients, families and colleagues.
