About the Role

This is a Permanent Full Time position at 80 per fortnight within the Mental Health Department

You will be responsible for maintaining a working relationship with the Department of Health, and will work with the Operations Manager to implement the Rapid CMI replacement.

This position requires excellent data management and communication skills, and the ability to form strong working relationships with business stakeholders. The capacity to understand and support the data and information requirements of the organisation is also critical to the role.

Classification for this position will range from YA69 – YA72

What you’ll achieve:

  • Support data integrity of health information collected and reported within the service, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements to the Department of Health
  • Project manage the implementation of the replacement of Rapid/CMI
  • Respond to data requests from the Mental Health service, and external stakeholders
  • Work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

Your skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or equivalent
  • Familiar with the Victorian Mental Health system
  • An understanding of public health, particularly in the areas of Mental Health, Activity Based Funding, performance monitoring and Casemix
