About the Role
This is a Permanent Full Time position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Human Resources Department. 
You will be responsible for providing customer service, advice and administration support to enable a seamless end to end human resources function to line managers and employees. This includes providing advice to employees and managers about employee entitlements, policy, procedures, industrial relations and employee lifecycle matters. 
Supported by a HR Business Partner you will also be responsible for guiding managers on complex remuneration, recruitment and contract management processes providing you the opportunity to build strong stakeholder relationships and become a trusted advisor. 
Classification for this position will range from AO51 to AO55 (base salary $92,856 to $102,653 per annum, plus superannuation).

 

What you’ll achieve:

  • Provide advice, guidance and support to line managers and employees in relation to a range of Human Resource (HR) processes in line with policy and procedures, remuneration frameworks, industrial awards and agreements and relevant legislation across the employee lifecycle.
  • Utilise well developed influencing skills to guide management decision making regarding human resource matters and ensure compliance with policy, procedure, Enterprise Agreements and relevant legislation.
  • Liaise with payroll, managers and employees to ensure timely processing and resolution of pay related matters.
  • Provide high level advice and support to managers on recruitment related matters as required. With the support of HR Services, oversee the end to end recruitment process.
  • Identify opportunities for improving HR processes and work with the HR team to implement these.

 

Your skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field along and/or relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Human Resource practitioner having performed a range of Human Resources related activities.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft suite of programs, HRIS (SAP desirable), SuccessFactors e‐recruit (or similar e‐recruit system).
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures to the delivery of human resource services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities.
