Magnetic Resonance Technologist
- Parkville location
- Full Time, Ongoing - 80 hours per fortnight plus a monthly ADO
- Open to Grade 2 and Grade 3 MRI Technologists
This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity within the Medical Imaging Department – MRI, dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services to patients and referrers. Reporting to the Chief MRT and Allied Health Manager – Medical Imaging, this role contributes to the care of paediatric patients through diagnostic imaging, disease monitoring, and treatment planning. The objective is to consistently deliver high-standard imaging that produces reliable, timely, and clinically impactful results.
As an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, and qualified MRT to you will:
- Perform paediatric MRI scans
- Continuously develop and enhance technical skills
- Participate in both internal and external training, education and research to maintain standards and professional development
- Ensure a cohesive and efficient service, work in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure high level service provision
What you'll bring:
- Diploma or degree in Applied Science/Diagnostic Radiography as outlined for eligibility for membership of ASMIRT
- Demonstration of appropriate experience within the Medical Imaging field.
- Current membership of AHPRA
- A Level 1 MRI accreditation (ASMIRT) and possess or be working towards postgraduate MRI qualifications.
- While prior paediatric MRI experience is highly desirable, it is not essential.
