About the Role:
This is a part-time, Fixed Term position to cover Parental Leave for 12 months (until June, 2027), at 0.6FTE/ 48 hours per fortnight within the Children’s Cancer Centre. At the RCH, we practice "best practice implementation" and we are also located at the hub of the Parkville Medical Hospital Precinct.
The internal position title is: Paediatric Oncology Statewide Multidisciplinary Meeting Coordinator.
You will be responsible for:
The effective and efficient management of the weekly statewide Oncology MDMs (Solids, Liquids & CNS) in addition to the coordination of a monthly Musculoskeletal Treatment Planning meeting. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the MDMs including achieving the Victorian State-wide MDM Framework.
Classification for this position will range from AO31 – AO35 under Award 10: Health and Allied, Managers and Admin Workers.
What you’ll achieve:
- Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including local, regional and interstate members
- Provide advice, guidance and support to the meeting Chairs, participants and support staff to ensure adherence with policy and procedures and relevant legislation, specifically the Victorian cancer multidisciplinary team meeting quality framework
- Compile data and provide reports on key performance indicators to key stakeholders
Your skills and experience:
- Technical/administration training with several years of relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in organising and maintaining clinical meetings
- An understanding of the healthcare sector, specifically Oncology services and Multidisciplinary Meetings

About the Department:
The RCH Children's Cancer Centre (CCC) is the largest partner in the Victorian Paediatric Integrated Cancer Services (PICS) and is a member of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Care program. The CCC is the only provider of complex children's cancer care and stem cell transplantation in the State of Victoria. The CCC aims for the highest standards in diagnosis, research, treatment, and support. The RCH CCC comprises: an inpatient ward with designated bone marrow transplant beds; a day oncology unit; outpatient clinic area including allied health facilities; a dedicated oncology pharmacy; a family facility; a research program with state-of-the-art laboratory facilities; a clinical trials office and an administrative centre.

Other requirements:
- Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
- Valid Working with Children Check
