About the Role:

This is a Full Time Position within the Information Communication and Technology (ICT) department - Networks and Telecommunications. 

 

The department provides multiple network and communication infrastructure and systems to support the ongoing operation of the hospital. You will be responsible for the management, maintenance and support of these systems in addition to being a subject matter expert in Cisco Unified Communications working across multiple initiatives and projects.

 

What You'll Achieve:

  • Provide technical leadership and act as a Subject Matter Expert (Network and Telecommunications)
  • You will plan and implement proposed technical changes in accordance with Change Advisory Board (CAB) and overall implementation plans
  • Foster collegiate relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • You will manage and support the proactive monitoring and alert of ICT networking and telecommunications infrastructure to ensure high availability and operational stability
  • You will develop, document and maintain ICT infrasturcture related processes, standards, procedures and guidelines
  • You will participate in activites to maintain or enhance the RCH cyber secutiry posture, including compliance with required cyber security frameworks 

 

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification or equivalent industry experience required
  • Hands on experience and demonstratable knowledge of working with Cisco Routers, Switches, Voice and Wireless Technologies
  • Experience supporting and managing Cisco UC platforms (Cisco Unified Communications Manager 11.x and above)
  • Able to plan / perform detailed planning and implementation of critical infrastructure work (upgrades/network refresh/cross-team co-ordinated maintenance) including change management
  • Experience with updating and working with Incident/Service Management system – (e.g. ServiceNow)
