Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician - Grade 3: Children's Cancer Centre

  • Full-Time, 12 month fixed-term contract

The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) provides secondary and tertiary care to children and young people across the northern and western suburbs; specialist paediatric healthcare to the children of Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and parts of South Australia; and is the designated state-wide provider of services including paediatric trauma, rehabilitation and forensic medicine. As a quaternary centre for complex cardiac surgery and organ transplantation, the RCH cares for the sickest children from around Australia.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated pharmacy technician to be part of a new oncology pharmacy service. Focusing on supporting the inpatient clinical pharmacists in oncology. In addition there will be opportunities to be involved with medication safety and quality improvement projects. There will be an emphasis on establishing quality use of medicines to ensure sustainability of the service on-going.

 

We are looking for some who has:

  • Hospital Pharmacy experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
