The Role:

Applications are now open for Paediatric Ophthalmology Fellow to commence February 2026.

 

The ophthalmology fellowship role at RCH will give the successful applicant specialised knowledge and skills in the provision of paediatric ophthalmic care under the supervision of the consultant staff of the Royal Children's Hospital. They will have the opportunity to see patients with complex multisystem disorders and gain experience in multiple paediatric subspecialties including strabismus, uveitis, glaucoma, retinoblastoma, ROP and paediatric cataract. They will also gain experience in teaching and supervision of junior staff and participate in clinical audits and research projects.
