The Opportunity

As a Registered Nurse in Kelpie you will play a vital role in the RCH as the forefront of providing quality care to patients, carers and families.

Your daily tasks may include a combination of:

  • Providing holistic assessments, developing care plans and delivering best‑practice, person‑centred care
  • Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and meeting all legal and regulatory standards
  • Offering culturally sensitive health education to patients and families
  • Contributing to quality improvement to strengthen nursing practice and patient outcomes
  • Supporting junior staff and students to foster their learning and professional growth

What You Will Bring to the Role

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, as evidence in a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) record/Professional Practice Portfolio (PPP)
  • Recent experience in an acute, medical, surgical, and/or speciality area of nursing

Infection, Prevention and Control Compliance
