About the Role:
This is a Permanent Full Time position within the Management Accounting department. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance - Business Planning & Reporting, you will be responsible for enhancing performance reporting, furthering business partnering capability and driving value add through analysis and insights. You will provide trusted support to a range of clinical stakeholders including the divisional Executive Director for the Surgery division.
What you'll achieve:
- Owning month end and deliverables for the division, driving financial analysis and providing financial stewardship to a range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Leading the delivery of the annual financial budgets including capital management
- Enabling strategic and tactical initiatives including business case development, performance reviews and funding proposals
Key deliverables:
- Providing timely, accurate and high quality financial and business management advice, reporting and insights to a range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Supporting the establishment, monitoring and review of financial performance through the management and coordination of the budget process, forecasts and facilitation of periodic divisional performance reviews
- Driving data driven decision through contemporary analytical and executive presentation techniques with a focus on labour drivers and revenue enhancement
- Ensuring the financial management processes are maintained and remain fit for purpose across the portfolio
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor of Commerce, Business or Accounting with CPA/CA qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in lifting analytical and process capability
- Authentic communication skills
- Enjoy working in a small team environment
- Significant experience and demonstrated achievements in business analysis and reporting across both public health and complimentary commercial sectors.
