The Role:

 

Be the first point of contact for patients, families and health professionals visiting and telephoning the Butterfly, Newborn Intensive Care ward. In this role you will be responsible for handling all enquiries in an accurate, professional, and timely manner, and provision of administrative support to staff.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven strong customer service focus
  • Proven experience working in a busy front line customer service role dealing with large volumes of people
  • Demonstrated experience in using various computer applications, including Microsoft office programs
  • Experience with IBA or EMR computer systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience working in a health care setting

 

Butterfly Ward – Newborn Intensive Care Unit:

 

NICU at the RCH reflects excellence, providing services to critically ill babies from throughout Australia. NICU is a 36 bedded Neonatal Intensive Care and High Dependency nursery, flexing up at times of peak demand. We are a Level 6B facility that cares for approximately 850 complex medical and surgical cases each year.
