What You’ll Do
Supported by the Family Healthcare Support Manager and Education Team, you will join one of the RCH’s largest teams to:
- provide personal care, medical interventions, tube feeds and pre-dosed medications in line with the child’s individual care plan
- maintain the safety and well-being of the child and report any concerns promptly to the parents as outlined in your training
- predominately support children within their home, but also to access activities, education, and community outings if appropriate
- be responsible for the safe and hygienic use of equipment as practiced in your training

What You’ll Bring to the Team
As well as an eager attitude to learn you will have:
- an ability to complete verbal and written tasks delivered in English (Professional Working Proficiency/C1/Advanced High ACTFL/ 3 ILR)
- well-developed communication skills and a professional manner
- an ability to travel independently (Victorian license and own car or access to one is highly desired)
- general computer skills and the ability to enter information accurately
