About the Role:

This is a full-time, Fixed Term position until July 2027, at 80 hours per fortnight within the Parkville Electronic Medical Record (EMR) team. You will be responsible for the design, build, testing, configuration, implementation and support of EMR Portals solutions.

 

Internally, this position will be known and/or referred to as: Parkville EMR Portals Analyst.

 

Classification for this position will be governed by Award 10 - Managers and Administratives Workers and will range from Grade 6, Year 1 (AO61) to Grade 6, Year 5 (AO65), FTE base salary of $110,479.20 to $111,051.20 per annum, plus Superannuation.

 

What you'll achieve:

  • Configure, build, test and perform system upgrade and maintenance tasks to ensure the EMR application is available, current and well maintained
  • Perform analysis of workflows, enhancement requests and other technical issues associated with the EMR and develop functional and technical solutions that reflect an in-depth understanding of the user’s requirements
  • Design and build approved EMR Portals Application optimisations to ensure that end users are effectively engaged in the continuous improvement of the EMR to continue to support and improve the delivery of care provided

 

Your skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or relevant industry experience both spanning 7+ years
  • Advanced skills in workflow discovery and design, and proven ability to deliver solutions that meet the needs of end users
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a particular emphasis on gaining consensus and consultation
  • Ability to flex between self-direction and team-based projects while meeting work deadlines, prioritising workload and competing demands

The Parkville EMR is a digital partnership between The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH), Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac), The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) and The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) and Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS). Other requirements:

  • Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
  • Valid Working with Children Check
